As a diabolo player, I’m always on the lookout for new equipment. I like to try different props, including those that I make<\/a>, to help me determine what I prefer to use when juggling and why I use it during performances and training. Recently, I had the opportunity to test the Sundia EVO G2 Orange, which weighs 232g. In this article, I’ll share my experience with the Sundia EVO G2 Orange and provide my honest opinion for other diabolo players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During my testing of the EVO G2, I had the opportunity to have Teresa Santos take some photos<\/a> of the diabolo in action at T\u00fanel, a creative space in Porto<\/a>. The bright orange color of the diabolo really stood out against the dark background of the T\u00fanel. My reflections about EVO Soft G2 Orange Diabolo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As someone who typically uses EVO G2 white diabolos (236g), I immediately noticed the lighter weight and reduced flexibility of the orange. This allowed me to execute my techniques with greater precision and control. However, it did take me about a week to get used to the new weight and feel of the diabolo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After this adjustment period, I found that the EVO G2 Orange was well-suited for longer training sessions. The reduced flexibility of the diabolo meant that I could maintain my accuracy over a larger number of hours, without my hands getting too tired or sore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though I have enjoyed using the orange EVO G2 diabolo, I will continue to use my trusty white ones for certain situations. For example, when training or performing outdoors, the extra weight of the white diabolo can be helpful in windy conditions. However, for indoor practice or performances, I will definitely be reaching for my orange EVO G2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To keep using your favorite orange diabolo on windy days or if you prefer heavier diabolos, consider adding the Heavy Rings and Sundia\u2019s Stability Ring to your EVO G2. These rings add 16g to the total mass of the diabolo, keep in mind that Heavy Rings offer a different weight distribution compared to a heavier diabolo with Stability Rings. Remember Sundia\u2019s Stability Ring reduces string friction, extending your spin time and both Heavy and Stability Rings are compatible with EVO G2 diabolos and are sold in pairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With so many options available, it can be challenging to choose the right one. To make things easier, we’ve put together a comparison table of the weight of various Sundia diabolos, both with Stability Rings and with Heavy Rings. This way, you can easily compare the weight of each model and select the one that best suits your style and preferences. I weight my diabolos, all in the same balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
