col·lab is a space designed specifically for juggling geeks, where you can not only refine your technique but also discover new challenges and concepts that will help you continue growing in your art.
Juggling has always been, for me, an open-source form of expression, where everything is transparently revealed, and sharing its “guts” is one of the keys to its richness and diversity.
This gathering will function as a true open-source juggling lab, a space where we can collaborate on projects and explore new dynamics and ideas.
How Will This First Gathering Work?
Project Presentations: Each participant will have the opportunity to present their project or idea. Afterward, the rest of the participants will dive into the exploration of the proposed topic, contributing tools and new perspectives. If you can share your project before the in-person meeting, even better!
Knowledge Sharing: Once the project is presented, we’ll propose a couple of exercises for the group to investigate in the direction of your work. If these exercises add value and knowledge to other members, it will be a success for everyone. Then, we’ll share all the “gems” we’ve found, offering hints and suggestions to fellow participants.
Connections and Inspiration: Beyond learning and collaboration, these gatherings are an excellent opportunity to connect with other passionate jugglers like yourself, with the goal of collectively growing this art form.
Digital Feedback: After the in-person gathering, the project will continue digitally through a Discord server. Here, we can keep sharing the progress of our projects, contribute ideas to others’ projects, and stay connected in this ongoing exploration.
