How My Head Works » Blog

Juggling and music shape each other in subtle ways. Rhythms, textures, and sounds push the exploration of new tricks, revealing a dance where sound and movement come alive together. Music guides the flow and juggling responds in kind. These improvisations take you to unexpected places, where experimenting with real-time generative music opens the door to new patterns and textures.

HMHW is a collection of videos on researching and composing music and juggling routines.

Juggling composition while generating music

These videos capture the raw interaction between sound and movement. Every clip was recorded in 30 minutes or less, with music created in real-time to inspire the juggling. From How My Head Works laid the foundation for the later development of Polychromatic Void.
