col·lab is a decentralized space that brings together juggling geeks, where besides honing your skills, you can share your research, dive into new challenges, and connect with the ideas and experiences of other jugglers.

I’ve always seen juggling as an open-source art, a transparent form of expression where everything is revealed, and sharing its essence is key to its diversity. This open-source juggling lab intends to be a space, both analog and digital, that embraces these values. Here, we’ll connect with other jugglers and collaborate on mutual projects, exploring new dynamics and sources of inspiration.

urning ideas into collective experiments

The flow of col·lab

col·lab is a space where jugglers can present their projects, share knowledge, and dive into new ideas.

  • After a project is introduced, the group collaboratively explores its direction, offering fresh perspectives and practical exercises to enhance the work.
  • This shared experience enriches everyone involved, creating connections and pushing the boundaries of juggling as an art form.
  • After the in-person gathering ends, the collaboration continues digitally via Discord, ensuring the projects and discussions evolve beyond the physical space.

Decentralized spaces for open collaboration

Where we gather

col·lab moves around, always hosted in decentralized spaces that foster self-management and horizontal collaboration. We avoid European capitals, favoring spaces that align with col·lab‘s ethos of autonomy and openness. These venues often include community-run centers, artist residencies, or other grassroots locations that support decentralized activities.

Our goal is to keep col·lab grounded in spaces where collaboration, shared learning, and experimentation can thrive outside the confines of mainstream systems. This gives each gathering a unique character, inspired by the setting and the people who inhabit it.

For now we went to La Fabrica de Somnis in Vic, but we plan to go anywhere.
